What is Klavaro?
Klavaro teaches touch typing through separate practice modules rather than a single timed typing test. Its basic course uses character sequences to help you memorize key positions; adaptability practice works with random keys, speed practice uses words, and fluidity practice moves on to complete paragraphs. It suits learners who want to work on accuracy and rhythm as well as speed.
Keyboard choice is a central part of the program. The publisher lists QWERTY, Dvorak, QWERTZ, AZERTY and Colemak layouts, plus an editor for defining missing layouts.
