What is LabPlot?
LabPlot brings spreadsheets, plots and analysis tools into one project. Import data from formats such as CSV, Excel or Origin, arrange 2D charts on a worksheet, and apply curve fitting, statistics or signal-processing tools. Its plot digitizer can extract data from an existing chart image for further analysis.
Analysis functions such as differentiation and integration are available through plots rather than directly in spreadsheet cells; the publisher documents cell-formula workarounds for some operations. This entry links to the publisher-listed 2.12.1 Windows x64 installer. The gallery image shows an older Windows interface, not a capture of the linked release.
What it offers
- Create configurable 2D scatter, line, histogram, box and bar plots on worksheets.
- Import data from CSV, Excel, Origin and other supported formats.
- Apply linear and non-linear curve fitting, smoothing and statistical analysis.
- Analyze signals with Fourier transforms, filters and correlation tools.
- Extract data points or curve segments from chart images with the plot digitizer.
Good to know
- Analysis functions such as differentiation and integration are not directly available in the spreadsheet; some operations require cell-formula workarounds.
