What is Lody?

Lody is a shared workspace for teams that already use AI coding agents. Connect a workstation or server, choose an ACP-compatible agent, and follow its conversation, files and code changes from desktop, browser or mobile. Separate Git worktrees let several sessions work on different changes without sharing one checkout.

The workspace brings file browsing, session diffs, pull-request status and CI checks alongside the conversation. Team members can continue a shared session rather than exchange pasted transcripts, while connected machines remain private until their owners share them.

Lody coordinates external agents; it does not include its own coding model. You still need the agent setup, relevant login or API credentials, repository access and a connected machine. The publisher says full local-first support is still in progress, so do not treat remote collaboration as a wholly offline utility. This link selects the publisher’s Windows x64 EXE installer; its rolling filename does not establish an exact package version.

What it offers

  • Run parallel coding-agent sessions in isolated Git worktrees.
  • Connect ACP-compatible agents while retaining their configured accounts, models and permission modes.
  • Review session files, code diffs, pull requests and CI status alongside the conversation.
  • Share conversations with teammates and continue work across desktop, browser and mobile.

Good to know

  • Requires an external coding-agent setup, the relevant account or API access, repository permissions and a connected machine.
  • Full local-first support is still in progress; remote collaboration should not be assumed to work wholly offline.
  • Agent subscriptions and paid Lody service plans are separate from the open-source application code.
