What is Logbert?
Logbert brings application log messages into a desktop viewer so you can narrow a stream to the entries that matter. It supports Chainsaw-compatible loggers such as log4net and NLog, Windows event logs, SysLog and configurable receivers. Available transports depend on the receiver: the project lists network, file and directory inputs rather than one universal connection method.
Use the logger tree and log-level filter to reduce the visible messages, then search with wildcards or regular expressions. Bookmarks mark entries for later reference, and export can save messages as received or in CSV format. For more specialized workflows, the embedded Lua engine can access received messages and respond to new messages or bookmark changes.
