What is Marble?
Marble is a virtual globe and world atlas for exploring places, comparing map views and measuring distances. Its desktop tools bring together place search, Wikipedia articles and route planning, so you can move from a broad view of the Earth to a particular city or journey.
The Windows download linked here is Marble 2.2.0 for x64, as listed on the project installation page. That page specifies Windows Vista or newer; it does not establish tested compatibility with current Windows releases. Newer version numbers in the KDE application catalog should not be mistaken for newer Windows installers.
Some offline capabilities need additional data: the publisher marks offline address and place search and offline pedestrian, bicycle and car routing as in-app downloads. The screenshot is the publisher’s older Windows 1.9 illustration of the map and routing interface, not a capture of this 2.2.0 package.
