What is MesenCE?
MesenCE brings several classic console families into one emulator: NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, PC Engine, Sega Master System/Game Gear and WonderSwan. It is a community-managed fork of Mesen 2, maintained by Sour and community contributors, rather than a separate emulator for each system.
The project also serves development and inspection workflows. Its release notes describe a debugger, a Memory Viewer, input movie recording/playback fixes and an SPC dumper for SNES audio. Version 2.2.1 includes an iNES ROM hotfix; the release's highlights also include link-cable support for two Game Boy or Game Boy Color consoles.
This entry links to the publisher's Windows ZIP archive for version 2.2.1. The publisher website specifies Windows 10 or later for that download. A separate Windows 7/8 archive is listed on the release page, so older systems should not use this entry's package as an interchangeable download. The screenshot is a source-gallery view of the Mesen Windows interface with the File menu open; its exact application version is not identified.
