What is Mozilla Firefox?
Firefox is Mozilla’s web browser for reading websites and using web apps on macOS. It combines tracking protection with tools for organizing a busy browsing session, including vertical tabs, tab groups and sidebar access. PDF editing is also available in the browser.
Firefox 159.0 adds the native macOS share picker, with a page preview and destinations such as AirDrop, Messages and other apps. Saved passwords are available from the sidebar by default. The accompanying publisher screenshot shows Firefox on Mac with that share menu open; it is not a screenshot captured by SoftGalaxy.
This entry links to Mozilla’s English (US) macOS DMG download. The publisher’s link resolved to Firefox 159.0 when checked, but it is a rolling download and can change to a later release. Firefox 159.0 requires macOS 10.15 or later; the regular release is not suitable for a Mac running macOS 10.14 or earlier.
