What is MSEdgeRedirect?
MSEdgeRedirect sends links that Windows tries to open in Microsoft Edge to your chosen default browser. It is intended for entry points such as news, search, widgets and weather, rather than replacing your browser. The tool filters and forwards Edge process command-line arguments, and also offers an Image File Execution Options mode.
Its configuration includes search-engine redirection, with preset providers or a custom choice. The publisher lists Windows 10 as the minimum operating system and recommends Windows 11. Active Mode requires administrator rights once during configuration.
Although the publisher calls its download channel Stable, the project still carries an explicit beta warning. It only handles links that attempt to open Edge; it does not change results generated inside other applications. The gallery image shows the older 0.6.0.0 setup interface, not a verified view of the linked 0.8.0.0 release.

- Active Mode requires one-time administrator rights. Version 0.8.0.0 no longer supports Windows 8.1.
