What is NetNewsWire?
NetNewsWire brings articles from subscribed blogs and news sites into a Mac RSS reader and tracks which ones you have read. Use folders to organize feeds, star articles to return to later, or browse the Today and All Unread smart feeds instead of checking each website separately. The publisher's current Mac download requires macOS 15 or newer.
Feeds can be downloaded directly or synced through iCloud and supported services including Feedbin, Feedly, Inoreader and FreshRSS. OPML import and export let you move feed lists between readers. Keyboard shortcuts, search, multiple windows and AppleScript support offer additional ways to work through articles on Mac.
Reader view can help with feeds that provide only part of an article, but the publisher notes that it cannot extract text from every webpage. iCloud sync can also take longer after a large feed import or when adding a new device. The download linked here is the publisher's ZIP archive; its observed redirect identified NetNewsWire 7.2.1 at verification time.

Good to know

- iCloud syncing can take longer after importing many feeds or adding a new device, and depends on iCloud's transfer limits.
