What is O&O RegEditor?
O&O RegEditor is a portable alternative to the registry editor included with Windows. It lets administrators, developers and experienced users create, edit and delete registry keys and values. Live search lists matches as you type, with options for regular expressions and whole-word searches. You can jump from a result to its registry path or export the results as REG or tab-delimited TXT files.
For repeated work, save paths as favorites, paste a registry path into the address bar, or copy a complete branch with its subkeys and values. REG import and export let you save selected registry data and bring it back later; the publisher also lists XML export of the entire registry. Settings are stored in a portable configuration file, so the program can run from a USB drive without installation.
The publisher lists support for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows, plus compatibility with ARM-based Windows devices. ARM compatibility does not mean there is a native ARM build. The screenshot illustrates the older interface shown in Softonic's product gallery; it is not a capture of the publisher's listed 16.1 release.
