What is Responsively App?

Responsively App puts several device-sized previews in one desktop browser so web developers can compare a layout without repeatedly resizing a single window. Clicks, scrolling and navigation can be mirrored across previews, while built-in and custom device profiles help you choose the screen sizes relevant to a project. Save device combinations as preview suites to return to the same layout checks.

The unified inspector examines elements across previews, and screenshot tools capture individual devices or all devices together. Version 1.18.0 also adds a design overlay for comparing a page with a mockup. The download linked here is the Apple Silicon ARM64 DMG; Intel Mac users need the separate Intel package from the publisher.

This release disables the Angular extension because the publisher reports that it does not work well. Do not choose it expecting that extension to be available.

What it offers

  • View multiple device-sized previews side by side.
  • Mirror clicks, scrolling and navigation across previews.
  • Use built-in device profiles, add custom devices and save preview suites.
  • Inspect elements across devices with the unified inspector.
  • Capture screenshots of individual devices or all devices together.
  • Compare a page with a design mockup using the 1.18.0 overlay feature.

Good to know

  • The Angular extension is disabled in version 1.18.0; the publisher says it does not work well.
  • The linked ARM64 DMG is for Apple Silicon Macs, not the separate Intel Mac package.
