What is Software Ideas Modeler?
Software Ideas Modeler is a Windows diagramming and computer-aided software engineering tool for planning software and documenting systems. Use it to describe classes and interactions with UML, sketch database relationships with ERD, or map business processes with BPMN. The application also provides flowcharts, wireframes and SysML diagrams, with availability depending on the edition.
A project contains a shared model rather than only independent drawings. Reuse an element across diagrams and changes to its name or properties appear wherever it is referenced. Layout tools, grids and reusable styles help arrange those views. Higher editions add capabilities such as source-code generation, reverse engineering and documentation generation.
Standard is free only for non-commercial use. Commercial use of Standard and continued use of Premium, Professional or Ultimate require a paid license after the trial. Check the publisher's edition comparison before choosing: BPMN and SysML are not included in Standard, and advanced reverse engineering requires Professional or Ultimate.
