What is SpaceSniffer?
SpaceSniffer shows how files and folders occupy a disk using nested rectangles: larger blocks represent larger items. It suits investigating a crowded drive when a folder list makes the biggest space users hard to spot. Click a folder to reveal more detail, or double-click to expand it across the view. The application is portable and does not require installation.
Filters narrow the map by file type, size or age, while four temporary tag colors help track items you have examined. Different views can use separate filters on the same scan, and the export module produces customizable text reports. The selected download is the publisher-hosted ZIP package for version 2.2.0.27, containing the x64 application. It is not a 32-bit Windows package. Alternate Data Streams scanning also depends on support from the selected drive; the release notes state that the ADS option has no effect on a drive that does not support it.
