What is Splashtop Streamer?
Splashtop Streamer runs on the computer you want to access remotely. For the Personal edition linked here, install the Streamer on your Windows host and sign in with your Splashtop account. Use the separate Splashtop Personal app on the phone, tablet or computer you are connecting from. The publisher's setup tutorial shows this two-part arrangement and the Streamer's account-login screen.
Splashtop Personal lets you work with the host computer's applications and files from another device. Its free use is limited to personal, non-commercial access on a local home network, with a maximum of two computers. Access from an outside network requires a subscription. Commercial use, including working from home, requires a business trial or subscription instead.
