What is SuperEdi?
SuperEdi is a Windows text editor for working on source files and web pages. Its syntax coloring includes schemes for HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Perl, while document tabs, a function list and an Explorer tree help you move between files and sections. It also offers HTML preview, regular-expression search and replace, and block editing.
For text conversion, SuperEdi supports UTF-8, UTF-16 and locale-specific encodings, along with newline conversion between Unix, DOS and Macintosh styles. A built-in FTP client handles uploads and downloads. Text clips, automation scripts and user-defined tools extend the editor without changing the core editing workflow.
WoLoSoft offers SuperEdi free of charge for both private and commercial use. Its download page labels the 4.3.3 EXE as a setup for Windows 10, but the version history dates that release to January 24, 2012. This is a historical release, not a newly released editor; the cited publisher pages do not establish Windows 11 compatibility or the architecture of this installer. The screenshots show historical interfaces in Dutch and Spanish, not a newly captured installation.
