What is Synkron?
Synkron keeps folders synchronized, such as a folder on your hard disk and one on a flash drive. Its interface brings synchronization jobs together with a scheduler, Multisync and a blacklist for files and folders you want to exclude. The publisher also documents a Restore window.
This entry links to the publisher-hosted Synkron 1.6.2 win32 EXE, dated January 25, 2011. SourceForge marks the project inactive. Softonic lists Windows Vista; its October 2025 catalog update does not establish a newer application release or support for current Windows versions. Treat this as a legacy utility rather than an actively maintained synchronization choice.
What it offers
- Synchronize folders, including a flash-drive folder and a folder on your hard disk.
- Schedule synchronization tasks using the documented Scheduler interface.
- Exclude selected files and folders with the Blacklist interface.
- Access the publisher-documented Multisync and Restore views.
Good to know
- SourceForge marks the project inactive; the selected Windows 1.6.2 package dates from January 2011.
- Windows 10 and 11 compatibility is not established by the inspected sources. The catalog lists a win32 EXE, while Softonic lists Windows Vista.
