What is TablePlus?
TablePlus brings database connections, SQL queries and data editing into a desktop interface. It is useful when you need to inspect tables or work with several databases without switching between separate clients. The Windows product page identifies MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite support; the publisher's broader database list is not a promise that every driver is available on Windows.
The free trial is limited to two open tabs and two open windows at a time, and advanced filters are unavailable in the free Windows edition. Paid licenses unlock premium features and include one year of updates; the licensed version remains usable after that period, while further updates require renewal.
This entry links to the publisher's version 27.2.0 Windows EXE installer, labeled for x64 and ARM64 in its release notes. That release adds scheduled tasks and Sync Database, which replaces Backup and Restore. The screenshot shows an older Windows welcome screen, Build 256, rather than the linked release's current interface.
What it offers
- Connect to MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite through a native Windows graphical client.
- Query databases and edit data from a desktop workspace.
- Work with multiple database connections, tabs and windows, subject to trial limits.
- Use scheduled tasks and Sync Database in version 27.2.0, as listed in the Windows release notes.
Good to know
- The free trial allows only two open tabs and two open windows at a time; advanced filters are unavailable in the free Windows edition.
- Paid licenses include one year of updates. Continued updates after that period require renewal, although the licensed version remains usable.
- Database-driver availability differs by platform; the publisher's complete overview list reflects macOS, and Oracle is listed as macOS-only.
