What is TeamViewer?

TeamViewer connects devices for remote access and support. The full Windows client can both start outgoing connections and receive incoming ones, so it suits helping a family member with their computer or working with a remote device. Support invitations can be shared as session links.

This download is the 64-bit x64 full-client EXE installer, not QuickSupport or Host. QuickSupport is the separate no-install module for someone receiving temporary attended support; Host is intended for unattended access. The publisher also offers separate 32-bit and ARM64 full-client packages.

The free version is for personal use, including your own devices and helping friends or family. Connecting to a work computer, supporting customers, or using TeamViewer within an organization requires a commercial license. For older PCs, check the publisher's compatibility matrix: Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are limited to TeamViewer 15.64 or earlier, not the release listed here.

What it offers

  • Start outgoing remote connections and receive incoming connections with the full client.
  • Access and control remote devices to provide technical support.
  • Share a session link to invite someone to a support session.

Good to know

  • Free use excludes work-related activity and organizational use; those uses require a commercial license.
  • Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are limited to TeamViewer 15.64 or earlier and are not compatible with the listed 15.83.3 release.
