What is Textractor?
Textractor captures text from supported video games, especially visual novels, and displays it in its own window. Also known as NextHooker, it is based on ITHVNR and supports x86 and x64 games on Windows 7 or later. It suits players who want to work with game dialogue as text rather than read it only inside the game.
Automatic hooks cover many game engines. For games that need more setup, Textractor accepts /H hook codes and can search for possible hooks; extensions provide ways to customize text processing. Compatibility is game-dependent: automatic extraction is not guaranteed for every title, and a suitable hook may need to be found or supplied manually. The linked download is the publisher's version 5.2.0 EXE setup package, released on January 31, 2022.
