What is Typora?
Typora is a Markdown editor and reader that renders formatting in the document as you write, rather than requiring a separate preview pane. Use it for notes, technical documents and drafts containing headings, lists, tables, images or code. Its outline panel helps you navigate sections, while file-tree and file-list panels keep documents within reach.
For more structured writing, Typora supports syntax-highlighted code fences, mathematics and text-based diagrams. Focus mode dims surrounding text; typewriter mode keeps the active line near the middle of the window. Themes can be customized with CSS.
Typora is paid software, not a permanently free editor: the publisher offers a 15-day trial. This download is the x64 EXE installer for Windows 10 and 11; separate 32-bit and ARM packages are listed by the publisher. The accompanying publisher screenshot shows the shared table-editing feature in a macOS window, not a Windows installation captured or tested by SoftGalaxy.
