What is UnHackMe?
UnHackMe helps investigate unwanted software and suspicious Windows settings. It checks areas such as startup programs, services, drivers, browser add-ons, shortcuts and DNS settings, rather than limiting the inspection to ordinary files. Its results let you review suggested removals and mark a legitimate program as a false positive.
Greatis positions UnHackMe as an addition to an antivirus, not a replacement. The publisher says it does not scan in real time; scans can be scheduled, and suspicious items can be inspected manually. This makes it a tool for reviewing a suspected infection or unwanted browser changes, not a promise of continuous antivirus protection.
The full-feature trial lasts 30 days. Continued use requires a paid license. The download links to the ZIP archive exposed on the publisher’s screenshot page. Version 18.85.2026.1027 is the release advertised on the product homepage; the unversioned archive was verified by HEAD only, so its internal version and contents were not inspected.
