What is v2rayN?

v2rayN provides a Windows interface for managing proxy configurations rather than editing every core setting by hand. It works with Xray, sing-box and other supported cores, groups server profiles through subscriptions, and lets you choose system-proxy behavior and routing rules. Supported subscription protocols include VMess, VLESS, Shadowsocks, SOCKS and Trojan.

The linked download is the publisher's v7.25.6 Windows x64 ZIP with the WPF interface. The publisher describes ZIP packages as portable: extract the archive to a folder, with application files stored there. Windows 10 or later is required; ARM64 and the alternative Avalonia interface use separate packages.

System-proxy settings affect applications that use the operating system's proxy, not automatically every connection on the computer. Routing decisions are handled by the selected core. Packages include some cores, but additional cores require separate acquisition. The screenshot shows an older v3.19 Windows interface and is not a preview of the current release.

What it offers

  • Manage proxy configurations through a graphical client supporting Xray, sing-box and other cores.
  • Import subscriptions using supported protocols including VMess, VLESS, Shadowsocks, SOCKS and Trojan.
  • Choose whether to configure, clear or leave the system proxy unchanged; Windows PAC mode is also documented.
  • Use core routing rules to send traffic through different outbound connections.
  • Keep portable ZIP copies in separate folders with independent application files.

Good to know

  • Setting the system proxy does not automatically route every application's traffic; it forwards traffic from software that uses that proxy.
  • The package includes only some supported cores; additional cores must be obtained separately.
  • This download is the Windows x64 WPF package, not the ARM64 or alternative Avalonia package.
