What is WebDrive?

WebDrive gives Mac users a local-drive route to files held on remote servers and cloud storage. Instead of treating each service as a separate transfer task, you configure a connection and use the mounted storage in your normal file workflow. The publisher documents connection types including SFTP, WebDAV, SharePoint and Google Drive.

This entry links to the publisher’s Mac trial PKG, not its Windows installer. WebDrive is paid software with annual renewal, and the Mac edition depends on FUSE. The publisher also documents system-extension approval and a restart for new Big Sur-or-later installations, so deployment can require administrator involvement. The screenshot shows a legacy Mac connection-selection interface from Softpedia’s 2018 listing; it does not establish the appearance or exact build of the current package.

What it offers

  • Mount remote and cloud storage as a local drive.
  • Configure named connections for server and cloud services, including SFTP, WebDAV, SharePoint and Google Drive.
  • Save connection details and connect from the application’s site list.
  • Use publisher-provided options for preconfigured connections and organization-wide deployment.

Good to know

  • Commercial software with annual renewal; the linked Mac package is offered as a trial, not unrestricted freeware.
  • The Mac edition requires FUSE; the publisher documents system-extension configuration and a restart for new Big Sur-or-later installations.
  • The publisher lists 64-bit Mac support but does not identify this PKG’s exact build or Intel/Apple silicon packaging on the inspected pages.
  • The supplied screenshot is a legacy Mac interface from a 2018 catalog listing, not a capture of the current trial package.
