What is MyMoney.Net?
MyMoney.Net organizes personal finances in a Windows desktop application. It brings bank, credit card, investment and asset accounts into one place, with transaction categories, duplicate merging, account reconciliation and reports. Financial transactions are stored in a local SQLite file rather than a proprietary hosted ledger.
For reviewing spending, the application offers category charts and historical views alongside its transaction register. Search and advanced queries help locate older entries, while transaction attachments can hold receipts or statement PDFs. Accounts can use different currencies.
Statement handling depends on your bank. Direct online banking uses OFX where supported; the publisher also documents Money or Quicken QFX file imports and CSV importing. Do not assume every institution offers a working direct connection. Installation uses ClickOnce and requires the .NET 10.0 Desktop Runtime first. Optional stock-quote services have their own license terms.
What it offers
- Manage bank, credit card, investment and asset accounts with transaction categorization and duplicate merging.
- Import statements through supported OFX connections, Money or Quicken QFX files, or CSV importing.
- Review spending and holdings through charts, historical views and financial reports.
- Search transaction history and attach receipt images or statement PDFs to entries.
- Store financial transactions locally in SQLite and work with accounts in different currencies.
Good to know
- Direct bank connections depend on OFX support; banks without it require another documented import route.
- The .NET 10.0 Desktop Runtime must be installed before the ClickOnce application.
- Optional stock-quote services are subject to their providers' separate license terms.
