What is Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor?
Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor teaches touch typing through step-by-step lessons led by a Viking character. It combines an onscreen keyboard with practice sentences, feedback and a words-per-minute target you can adjust. QWERTY and Dvorak layouts, regional keyboard variants and seven interface languages let you choose a learning setup that matches your keyboard.
The sentence generator supplies new practice text, while Safari Park and Brick Factory provide game-based typing practice between lessons. Options also cover numbers, symbols and spacing. The publisher lists Windows 10 and 11 support; the screenshot shows an older Windows interface and is an illustration of Safari Park, not a capture of the current installer running.
