What is Xreveal?
Xreveal works in the background to make supported DVD and Blu-ray disc contents readable by Windows applications. Its on-the-fly operation avoids first copying an entire disc to the hard drive. For a saved backup instead, the application can write a disc to an ISO file or a folder; it also offers Blu-ray M2TS integrity verification.
This download is the stable 3.0.0 x64 Windows installer. Choose the separate publisher packages for x86 or ARM64 systems. Free and Pro use the same installer, but they do not offer identical features: command-line operation, My Discs and dark mode are among the paid Pro options.
A key database is required, and the free edition places additional limits on online key retrieval. Free stable builds expire 90 days after release, so this is not an indefinitely usable frozen free version. Check local copyright and anti-circumvention rules before using disc-access or backup features; owning a disc does not establish permission in every jurisdiction.
What it offers
- Operate in the background to enable access to supported DVD and Blu-ray disc contents.
- Back up a disc to an ISO file or a folder in both Free and Pro editions.
- Verify Blu-ray M2TS file integrity, including decrypted M2TS files.
- Change ISO volume labels and optionally remove disc region codes.
Good to know
- Requires a key database; the publisher says the application contains no decryption keys.
- Free online key retrieval requires internet access, AACS MKB below 76 and a matching key in the public keydb.cfg.
- Free stable builds expire 90 days after release; command-line operation, My Discs and dark mode require Pro.
- Disc copying or circumvention may be restricted by local law; use only where you have the necessary rights and legal authorization.
