What is PloView?
PloView brings technical drawings into one Windows viewer for inspection, measurement and conversion. It opens HP-GL, HP-GL/2, PDF, DXF, GERBER and several image formats, with DWG input and output available through a separately installed ODA File Converter. Use its drawing tools to add text, dimensions and cloud-shaped markup rather than treating it as a read-only previewer.
For a drawing set, PloView can combine several files into a multipage document or split a multipage file into separate pages. Its display controls include zoom, rotation, pen visibility and line-color changes; measurement tools cover length, area and angles. Output options include PDF, DXF, supported raster formats, Windows printers and HPGL plotters.
The download is the publisher's ZIP package, which contains Readme.txt and the English installer SetupPloViewE.exe according to the product page. Read the included installation and license instructions before proceeding. A default printer driver is required, including a high-resolution driver for reading PDF files. The full-feature trial lasts 30 days; the publisher says operation stops afterward unless a licensing password is entered. The trial also includes auto-output functions that are not included in the formal standard PloView license.

Good to know
- Commercial software: the full-feature trial lasts 30 days, after which a licensing password is required to continue operation.
- DWG import and export require a separate installation of ODA File Converter.
- A printer driver must be installed and set as default; reading PDF files requires a high-resolution printer driver.
- Auto-output functions available during the trial are not included in the formal standard PloView license.
- For EMF output, the publisher requires Windows display scaling to be set to 100%.
