What is Sound Pilot?
Sound Pilot adds a sound to each keystroke, giving a computer keyboard a typewriter-style soundtrack. The default scheme uses typewriter sounds; other bundled choices include Morse, ICQ and Piano-keys. It suits people who want audible feedback while typing rather than a different keyboard layout.
The publisher describes a system-tray workflow: right-click the icon to choose a sound scheme or select Mute. Volume is adjusted through Sound Schemes > Settings. You can also create custom schemes with different sounds assigned to different keys.
This link is the publisher's free demo of version 2.6.0, not a freeware license for the full product. The publisher lists paid registration at 29.95 EUR with no subscription. It also explicitly supplies the program AS IS, with no planned upgrades and no technical support. Try the demo on your own Windows setup before paying; operation has not been independently tested for this entry.
