What is Vit Registry Fix?
Vit Registry Fix is a Windows registry-maintenance utility from VITSOFT. It searches for registry errors and provides tools for removing junk files, clearing history lists, managing startup entries and uninstalling software. Backups before deletion are part of the publisher-listed workflow. It is a focused maintenance tool, not evidence that every detected entry needs removal or that cleaning will improve performance.
The official product page lists version 14.9.4 for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows, including Windows 11 and 10 as well as older releases. The linked download is the publisher’s EXE installer; a separate x86 portable ZIP is also offered. These are publisher compatibility statements, not results of an installation or runtime test. The gallery image depicts an older Professional-edition interface, not a verified capture of version 14.9.4.
Do not confuse a downloadable installer with a free license. The publisher sells a perpetual license with free updates and imposes activation timing conditions for new computers or USB drives. Its comparison table also says Vit Registry Fix does not work with fully enabled Data Execution Prevention (DEP) and has no Windows ARM version. This entry does not recommend weakening Windows protection to run it.
